Biography engraver: Nathaniel Parr (before 1742?1751) was an English copper engraver, printer, and publisher active in the mid-18th century. Based in Greater London, he was known for his finely detailed engravings, which often featured maritime and topographical themes. His career began around 1742, and he remained active until his death in 1751 in Westminster.
Biography artist: Francis Swaine (1725-1782), British marine painter renowned for his detailed and atmospheric maritime scenes.
