Antique print, untitled. Study of children: three putti: a portrait, one standing, the third clapping hands while leaning on a boulder with one knee. “Etudes d’ enfants, Applicables a la Composition de Sujets Decoratifs” by E. Meyer. Published in Brussels: E. Lyon-Claesen, 1892. Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘E. Meyer’ after own design. We have been unable to find much about this artist. Given the style we date the activity around the turn of the nineteenth century. Possibly the portrait painter and lithographer Eduard Meyer (Berlin, 19th century).

Condition: Excellent, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
