Detached carrier sheet has a collection mark of the Kupferstichkabinett der Staatlichen Museen (Lugt 1612b) and of the same for doublets (Lugt 2482) This item has not been fully described / researched. Made by ‘Anonymous’ after ‘Salvador Rosa’. Salvator Rosa (1615-1673) was an Italian Baroque painter, poet, and printmaker, who was active in Naples, Rome, and Florence.
Condition: Very good, given age. Trimmed at or near plate marks. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
