Description
A striking naval battle scene. Observers are visible along the coastline witnessing the maritime clash. Depicts the destruction of Spanish galleys near the Flemish coast by the Dutch fleet under Vice-Admiral Jacob van Duivenvoorde, Lord of Obdam, on October 3, 1602. The engraving captures the dramatic naval battle observed by spectators from the shore.
