Made by J.W. Edwards after A. Ramsay.
Medium: Engraving/etching on wove paper.
Sheet size: 17 x 24.3 cm (6.69 x 9.57 inch).
Condition: good, given age. Foxing but mainly visible in margins. A few small creases in the magins. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Published in London and Oxford c. 1840.
Biography engraver: William Camden Edwards (1777-1855) worked as an engraver in Norfolk.
Biography artist: Allan Ramsay (1713-1784) worked as a portrait painter. He made several trips to Italy and after the crippling of his right arm started writing.
