Original antique print showing a portrait of Daniel Heinsius (1580 – 1655), one of the most famous scholars of the Dutch Renaissance.

Made by Peter Aubry after Willem Groot.

Medium: Engraving/etching on hand laid (verge) paper.

Sheet size: 11.9 x 19.2 cm (4.69 x 7.56 inch).

Condition: good, given age. Some wrinkles, cut into plate left side and a few spots. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
