Costume print, a half-length portrait of a female figure, wearing a dress, bonnet, and necklace and holding a fan. Four additional bonnets.
Made by an anonymous engraver/artist.
Medium: Handcoloured etching / engraving. on hand laid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 12.8 x 19 cm (5.04 x 7.48 inch). Image size: 9.5 x 17.5 cm. (3.74 x 6.89 inch).
Condition: good, given age. A faint crease over the middle of the image. A small stain in the far right of the image, on the image border. Left side remargined. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
