Made by ‘Cornelis Danckerts’ after an anonymous artist. Cornelis Danckerts (1603-1656) was a Dutch engraver and publisher; born in Amsterdam, he worked as a publisher between 1628 and 1656; founder of an important dynasty. Dancker Danckerts was his son and heir; Justus (qv) was another son.

Condition: Good, given age. Brown spot in upper margin. Crinkles in lower right corner. Light creasing. Centerfold as published. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
