Duc de Berri – Madame la Duchesse de Berry – This scarce original antique print depicts a portrait of Charles Ferdinand d’Artois, Duke of Berry (1778 – 1820), the third child and youngest son of the future King of France, Charles X, and his wife, Maria Theresa of Savoy. And his wife Marie-Caroline de Bourbon-Sicile, Duchesse de Berry (1798 – 1870), an Italian princess of the House of Bourbon, and was the mother of Henri, Count of Chambord.

Published in France c. 1820.

Made by Perrot Fils & P. Pauquet after an anonymous artist. The freres Pauquet, were reknowned 19th-century illustrators of a number of very popular and nowdays expensive works.

Condition: Good, given age. Light scattered soiling. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
