‘BY VEELE ZIT DE KEI IN ‘T HOOFT OM DAT MEN IN DE WIND GELOOFT.’

– This print shows a view of a cartoon of the people who were foolish enough to participate in the wind trade in 1720. The victims let quacks cut the boulder out of their heads. In the foreground, a jester wipes his buttocks with an action, at the top a monk (Brother Cornelis) whips the buttocks of a nun, also with various small people and fools. Many visual elements borrowed from older prints. All details are inscribed in Dutch.
