Subject: Antique print, titled: ”Te zijn of niet te zijn, of, het staatsexamen in Nederland. Treurspel in 30 dagen.” – This original antique print shows a caricature of the new State Exams of 1850. Left a sudent with his dreams and sad students that have failed, right the happy students that have passed their exams. Above the Gymnasium students are boiled in a large kettle.
Condition: Very good, given age. A few minor crinkles . General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
