Description

Etching / engraving on hand laid (vergé) paper. Watermark: circle with French lily.
Sheet size: 34,5 x 44 cm. (13,6 x 17,3 inch). Image size: 28,5 x 19,5 cm. (11,2 x 7,7 inch).

From the monumental ‘Collection of Etruscan, Greek and Roman Antiquities from the cabinet of the honourable William Hamilton, by sir William Hamilton (1730-1803) and Pierre d’Hancarville (1719-1805), published in Naples by Francois Morelli, 1766-67.
