Condition: good, given age. Light foxing, creasing and soiling. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Engraving from the “Teutsche Academie der Bau-, Bild- und Mahlerey-Kunste” [German Academy of the Noble Arts of Architecture, Sculpture and Painting], or just known as “Teutsche Academie,” a comprehensive dictionary of art by Joachim von Sandrart, published in Nuremberg in 1675 and later illustrated with engravings in 1683.
Biography engraver: Johann Georg Waldreich (d. after 1680) was a German engraver known for his detailed portraits of notable figures.
