Original engraving, captioned “La naissance de notre Seigneur Iesus-Christ” (the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ). This print shows Maria and Joseph with the baby Jesus, and the Adoration of the Sheperds, as well as a second female figure. From: “Histoire des Juifs et des Peuples voisins”, a French edition of Humphrey Prideaux’s “The Old and New Testament connected in the History of the Jews and Neighbouring Nations”. Condition: Good given age, quite browned, right margin uneven, small wormhole in the right margin, 3 mm. into the image. Please study scan carefully.
