– Original antique print illustrating the biblical scene from Judges 16. After being betrayed by Delilah—who discovered the secret of his superhuman strength and had his hair cut off while he slept, the vulnerable Israelite judge Samson is overwhelmed. Samson is forcefully pinned to the ground by heavily armored Philistine soldiers who use a sharp instrument to gouge out his eyes.
