Medium: Mezzotint engraving on hand laid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 13.9 x 18.6 cm (5.47 x 7.32 inch).
Condition: good, given age. Narrow margins. Remnants of paper from former matting on verso. Slight damage to bottom left corner. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Pieter/ Petrus Schenk / Schenck the elder (1660-1711/1713), a German engraver and cartographer active in Amsterdam and Leipzig. One of his specialties was the mezzotint.
