Biography engraver: Antoni Zurcher (1755-1837) was a Dutch engraver from Amsterdam, like his son Johannes Cornelis Zurcher (1794-1882).
Biography artist: Pieter de Neufville was an artist active around 1803, contributing to illustrated works depicting Dutch landscapes and estates. The De Neufville family was a well-connected Dutch-French Huguenot lineage, originally from Artois, that settled in Amsterdam and Haarlem via Antwerp, Frankfurt, and London. The family was engaged in banking, silk trading, and industry, producing notable merchants, bankers, and artists. While the precise identity of Pieter de Neufville remains uncertain, he may have been connected to one of the artistic or commercial branches of this prominent family.
