Biography engraver: Guillaume Albert Charles Severeyns (1834-1879) was one of the most famous Belgian chromolithographers of the period. Belgian lithographers reached the ultimate of craftsmanship during the 19th century.
Biography artist: Abraham Jacobus Wendel (Leiden, 1826 ? 1915) was a Dutch lithographer, draughtsman and scientific botanical and paleontological illustrator.
