Antique print, untitled. This print shows the Anatomy of the martyr. A male and female figure are presented with spread arms. Their bodies indicate numerous places where different weapons and implements hurt them. The top edge reads ‘De Sancta Cruce. Liber Primus’. Probably Jacob Gretser’s ‘De Cruce Christi’.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Anonymous’ after ‘Author: Jacob Gretzer’.

Condition: Excellent, given age. The thinness of the paper causes ghosting of the image on the rear. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
