This attractive print was first published in 1786. This appears to be a later impression on wove paper.

Made by ‘Jean Pierre Norblin de la Gourdaine’ after own design. Jean Pierre Norblin de la Gourdaine (1755-1830) made this etchings in the style of Rembrandt.

Condition: Good, given age. Plate trimmed slightly into image at top. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
