Original antique print showing a portrait of Aert Jansse van Nes (1626 – 1693), a 17th-century Dutch naval commander, notable for commanding the second squadron in the raid on the Medway in 1667.

Medium: Engraving/etching on hand laid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 13 x 18.5 cm (5.12 x 7.28 inch).
Condition: fair, given age. Several creases. Brown spots top right. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
