Antique print, titled: ‘The Forbidden Fruit’, Adam in Eve, surrounded by a large number of animals. In the center, Eve has taken the Apple from the tree around which the Serpent coils. Adam seems to shy away from Eve’s offering the Apple to him. Genesis III:6. Published in London by Thomas Kelly, 17 Paternoster Row, ca. 1820.Artists and Engravers: Anonymous.

Condition: Very good, given age. The margins stained. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
