Antique print, titled: ‘Due Cavalieri Passano Vicino A Un Gregge’, Two noblemen on horseback passing through a flock of livestock (sheep, bull and a goat) and two shepherds, in a wooded, hilly landscape. From a series of large landscapes ?. Artists and Engravers: Made by Stefano Della Bella after own design. Stefano Della Bella (1610-1664) originated from Florence and was later active as a graphic artist in Paris. He produced a wide variety of prints, with all kinds of subjectmatter. His prints were very popular and widely copied by printpublishers.
Condition: Fair, given age. A horizontal tear over the middle of the image, backed with acid-free archival tape. A crease in the left margin. Margins soiled. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
