Bust portrait of King William II wearing a crown and royal robes, with inscriptions highlighting his virtue and courage, within an oval frame. This portrait is curious as it actually shows the portrait of George I, set in the plate describing William II.

Medium: Mezzotint engraving on hand-laid (verge) paper.

Condition: very good, given age. Remains of paper on rear from attachment. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
