Medium: Stipple and line engraving. on hand laid (verge) paper.

Sheet size: 32.8 x 38.2 cm (12.91 x 15.04 inch). Image size: 32.5 x 37.5 cm. (12.8 x 14.76 inch).

Condition: good, given age. Quite foxed, especially in the margins, a small crease in the right margin. A few tear in the top and right margin, not effecting the image. Paper loss in top right corner, backed. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Separately published master print, published by Thomas Maclin in 1786.

Biography engraver: John Ogborne (1755-1837) was a British printmaker, publisher / printer. He was the son of David Osborne.

Biography artist: Thomas Stothard (1755-1834) was a British painter / draughtsman.Draughtsman, illustrator, occasionally on wood, miniature painter, decorator; etched a few plates.
