Medium: Hand-coloured line etching and aquatint on wove (vellin) paper. Watermark: NOT BLEACHED 1825.

Sheet size: 32.4 x 21.5 cm (12.76 x 8.46 inch). Image size: 30.2 x 19.5 cm. (11.89 x 7.68 inch).

Condition: good, given age. Light foxing and ghosting frommprevious matting. Remains of tape on rear from attachment. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Joseph Constantine Stadler (active 1780-1819) was a German-born engraver known for his detailed aquatint and etching works, particularly in landscape and topographical subjects.

Biography artist: Joseph Farington (1747-1821) was an English landscape painter and diarist. He contributed numerous topographical views to books and journals.
