Medium: Etching / engraving with hand colouring. on hand laid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 39 x 51 cm (15.35 x 20.08 inch). Image size: 36 x 49 cm. (14.17 x 19.29 inch).
Condition: fair, given age. Several restorations, esp. near plate mark, margins reinforced on verso. Some foxing in the margins. Paper loss bottom left corner, backed. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Published in London, dated 1765.
Biography engraver: William Woollett (1735-1785) was an English engraver, born in a family originating in the Netherlands. His works combine etching, drypoint and engraving, and his works rank among the greatest English engravings.
Biography artist: Cornelis Dusart (1660-1704 was a pupil of Adriaen van Ostade. He specialised in highly finished genre scenes and was particularly active with the mezzotint technique.
