Antique print, titled: ‘Grasmaand’, (‘Grass month – April’). View of a walled spring garden with several couples and figures, gardening or ambling. From a series of the 12 months, printed in two varieties: one with the names of the months, the other with the descriptive titles of the months.Artists and Engravers: Made by Izaak Jansz. de Wit after J. Catz. Izaak Jansz. de Wit (1744-1809) was an engraver active in Haarlem.
Condition: Excellent, given age. Two folds, as issued. Small stains in the bottom margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
