Condition: Very good, given age. A tiny hole, backed with paper and acid-free archival tape. A stain in the middle of the image. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Description: Published in Paris by J. Marchand, Graveur, Rue St. Jacques No. 30 in c. 1680..

Artists and Engravers: Made by an anonymous engraver after Jean-Baptiste Monnoyer (1636-1699) who was a Franco-Flemish painter who specialised in flower pieces. He was attached to the Gobelins tapestry workshops and the Beauvais tapestry workshops, too, where he produced cartoons of fruit and flowers for the tapestry-weavers, and at Beauvais was one of three painters who collaborated to produce cartoons for the suite The Emperor of China.
