Medium: Etching / engraving on wove paper.
Sheet size: 20.2 x 15.6 cm (7.95 x 6.14 inch). Image size: 19.5 x 15 cm. (7.68 x 5.91 inch).
Condition: good, given age. Remains of paper tape in corners on reverse. Thin paperspot in the air. Paperloss in upper right corner. Small margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

This attractive print was published ca. 1755.

Biography engraver: Franz Edmund Weirotter, (1730-1771) was an Austrian painter, draughtsman and etcher. Weirotter was born in Innsbruck, and painted primarily landscapes and maritime scenes. He traveled to Paris and Rome where he produced a number of paintings and etchings. Some of his works reside at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. .
