He is celebrated for his genre scenes, portraits, and historical depictions, often blending French and Polish influences with techniques inspired by Rembrandt.

Biography artist: Rembrandt van Rijn (1606-1669), the Dutch master, is known for his dramatic use of light and shadow, and for his depictions of intimate, genre scenes and historical subjects.
