This attractive print was published 25th of August 1744.
Provenance: With an unknown, probably German, collectors stamp WX (Lugt 2644).
Biography engraver: Christian Ludwig von Hagedorn (1717-1780) was a German Art Critic / Theorist, collector and in addition amateur etcher and Saxen Diplomat. He is known to have etched between 1743-1745 and 1764-1766.
