Medium: Engraving on hand laid (verge) paper.

Biography engraver: Ignaz Sebastian Klauber (1753-1817) was a German engraver active in Paris, Augsburg, and St. Petersburg. He was court engraver to the Russian Tsar and contributed to the monumental Mus?e Fran?ais project.

Biography artist: Ferdinand Bol (1616-1680) was a Dutch Golden Age painter and student of Rembrandt, known for historical scenes and portraits. His works are held in major museums including the Louvre.
