Made by ‘Petrus Schenk’ after ‘Andries Both’. Pieter/ Petrus Schenk / Schenck the elder (1660-1711/1713), a German engraver and cartographer active in Amsterdam and Leipzig. One of his specialties was the mezzotint.

Condition: Fair, given age. Trimmed near image. Overall soiling, creasing and staining, mostly visible on rear. Remains of previous attachment on rear. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
