Print Description
A group of men gathered in a tavern or outdoor setting, smoking pipes and drinking beer. One man sits on a barrel while filling his pipe, another stands behind him smoking, and a third is seen with his back turned, also enjoying a smoke. A forth man is taking a piss in the rear. A chimney is visible to the right, with smoke rising from it, creating a relaxed, convivial atmosphere. The title “La Philosophie Tabagique” refers to the leisurely enjoyment of smoking and drinking.

Condition: good, given age. The paper shows a vertical tear that has been mended. Also some minor creasing and some small handling marks. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
