Originally issued as part of the border decoration of the figurative map of The Hague (1681-1682), later published in La Galerie Agreable du Monde, Pieter van der Aa, Leiden, 1728.

Biography engraver: Cornelis Elandts (active 1663-c.1681) was a Dutch etcher, mapmaker, and land surveyor based in The Hague. He is known for his contribution to the 1681-1682 figurative wall map of The Hague and other finely detailed topographical works.
