Artists and Engravers: Made by an anonymous engraver after Ch. Eisen. Charles-Dominique-Joseph Eisen (1720-1778) was a French engraver and painter. Initially trained by his father, he soon entered the studio of Le Bas. He became draughtsman to the King and drawing-master to Madame de Pompadour.
Condition: Very good, given age. Pinholes in the top margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
