Condition: good, given age. Light foxing, creasing, and soiling. Minor paper toning and handling wear in the margins. Strong dark impression. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Albert Roelofs (1877–1920) was a Dutch-Belgian painter and printmaker born in Schaerbeek. The son of painter Willem Roelofs, he became associated with Hague School traditions while developing a more intimate and atmospheric style. He produced landscapes, genre scenes and sensitive depictions of motherhood and domestic life.
