Biography engraver: Isaak de Moucheron (1667-1744) was a Dutch painter and etcher who specialized in landscape art. He was highly influenced by Italianate landscapes and often depicted idealized nature scenes featuring architectural elements and serene waters.
Biography artist: Gaspard Dughet (1615-1675) was a French painter of Italian landscapes and was known for adopting the name of his brother-in-law Nicolas Poussin, under whom he studied. His landscapes are noted for their classical compositional structure and pastoral serenity.
