Biography engraver: Hans Collaert I (ca. 1530-1580), prominent Flemish engraver from the Collaert dynasty, known for his collaboration with Antwerp publishers such as Gerard de Jode and Philips Galle.

Biography artist: Ambrosius Francken I (ca. 1544-1618), Flemish painter and designer of religious and historical scenes, active in Antwerp and associated with the Francken family of painters.
