Original antique master print: The Sportsman’s Return. It shows a hunter showing off the hare he has just shot. Another man is tying up his horse outside the country ale-house. Rare.

Medium: mezzotint engraving / etching with original old hand colouring on hand laid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 63.5 x 49.5 cm (25 x 19.49 inch). Image size: 60.5 x 46 cm. (23.82 x 18.11 inch).
Condition: very good, given age. Trimmed almost to the platemark, top edge reinforced, small repairs to the margins, a small corner paper loss. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
