Biography engraver: Johann Jakob Kleinschmidt (1687-1772) was a German engraver and etcher. He is known for creating prints after the works of artist Rugendas and also publishing his own prints in Augsburg.

Biography artist: Georg Philipp Rugendas (27 November 1666 ? 1742) was a battle and military genre painter and engraver born in the Free Imperial City of Augsburg in what is now Bavaria, Germany.
