Made by Jean-Pierre Norblin de la Gourdaine after own design.

Medium: Etching on wove (vellin) paper.

Sheet size: 6.6 x 8.3 cm (2.6 x 3.27 inch). Image size: 5.2 x 6.6 cm. (2.05 x 2.6 inch).

Condition: very good, given age. Adhered to mounting paper at corners. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Jean-Pierre Norblin de la Gourdaine (1745-1830) was a French painter and printmaker who spent much of his career in Poland. He is celebrated for his genre scenes, portraits, and historical depictions, often blending French and Polish influences with techniques inspired by Rembrandt.
