Subject: Antique Master Print, titled: ”La mere interessante.” – (The interested mother. Galant nicely dressed mom posing with her son, holding a book.
Condition: Good, given age. Trimmed just outside plate marks. Paper edges irregular untrimmed, with small tear in bottom left paper edge. Light soiling. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
Medium: Stipple engraving, coloured in the plate (a-la-pouppee) on hand laid (verge) paper.
