Artists and Engravers: This plate by Cazenave after a design by Louis Gerbo (1761-1818), after an original painting by Jan van Huysum (1682-1749). .
Biography engraver: J.-F. Cazenave (active c. 1770-1800) was a French engraver.
Biography artist: Jan van Huysum was a Dutch painter, the son of flower painter Justus van Huysum. He is well known for his landscapes and flower still-lifes.
