Made by Hermanus van Brussel after own design.

Medium: Etching on hand laid (verge) paper.

Sheet size: 17.5 x 26 cm (6.89 x 10.24 inch). Image size: 10.8 x 13.5 cm. (4.25 x 5.31 inch).

Condition: excellent, given age. Light foxing, creasing and soiling. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Hermanus van Brussel (1763-1815) was a landscape painter and graphic artist from Haarlem. He was a student of J.B. Brandhof and Ed. Hendriks. He also painted decorations for the Amsterdam theatre and the Loo Royal Palace.
