Condition: good, given age. Plate attached to a carrier. Plate edges with paper separation, backed. Light foxing. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Robert Field (c.1769-1819) was a British printmaker, who moved to the US in 1794 and then to Nova Scotia in about 1808 and then to Jamaica in 1816 where he died in 1819. He is known for his portrait of Washington, dated 1795.
Biography artist: Francis Wheatley (1747-1801) was a British painter/ draughtsman.
