Biography engraver: Jan Both (1615-1652) was a Dutch painter and engraver from Utrecht, known for his Italianate landscapes. His work was heavily influenced by his travels in Italy.
Biography artist: Andries Both (1606-1642) was a Dutch painter from Utrecht, best known for his genre scenes with a humorous and satirical tone, often depicting peasant life.
