Biography engraver: Georg Leopold Hertel (1719-1785) German engraver known for producing detailed prints, often based on famous works by other artists. He worked in Augsburg, a major center for printmaking during this period.
Biography artist: Adam Frans van der Meulen (1632-1690) was a Flemish painter best known for his battle scenes and landscapes, often commissioned by the French royal court. His works documented the military campaigns of Louis XIV.
