This print shows a map from South East Asia, countries like India, Pakistan, Bhutan, Tibet, Cambodja, Vietnam. Information about ports and geograhy of Asia. On both side of the map there is extensive information in French. Collection stamp and signature from previous owner the famous VG Radionov (Radionoff). Dated on reverse 1940.
Made by an anonymous engraver after Clouet.
Medium: Etching / Engraving / Hand coloured on handlaid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 57.5 x 41 cm (22.64 x 16.14 inch). Image size: 55.5 x 31.5 cm. (21.85 x 12.4 inch).
Condition: good, given age. Fold as published. Tears in margin have been restored. Brownish in margins. Signature Radionoff. Collection stamps. Smudges in margin. . General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
